where to start?
From the food that is served in the staff canteen; to work relationships; to the proper use of equipment, these are all examples that fall within the circle of health & wellbeing.
The analogy of a circle is used because all examples are valid, no one is more important than any other, only the affected person can quantify how much they are being troubled by something. Simply any issue or event that has the potential to have a negative impact on their body or mind needs tackling...................this is the negative side. Basically making bad things better.
The positive side is when things are generally ok, but you decide to push your employees a little bit higher (that's higher, not harder!) boost their happiness, morale and ultimately wellbeing, perhaps a special Christmas party, a sporting challenge, on site massage or just free fruit in the office, it all goes to make a more energised and productive workforce.
Now this can be a complex subject but we are here to help you make sense of it all, we know no two companies are the same, yet as a starting point....
we feel it is important to have a strategy, coupled with a joined-up-thinking approach.
Ways to develop this may include a stress audit employee consultation, liaising with your existing occupational health department, taster days or a health awareness event. Feedback and post reporting are valuable in developing a strategy and keeping your programme solid and on course.
We offer a wide range of services which can act as a standalone or integrated part of your ongoing wellbeing strategy. Browse our services in the left hand menu and if you need to get in touch
